There is a lot of media out on the web which is very funny and is posted to our site. I like to avoid dead links by moving this content over to my own server and allowing the viewers of this board to download it directly from me allowing faster speeds, avoidance of dead links, or if there just isn't a link to the content and I acquired it from some where else (bit torrent, ftp, made it, etc). Having these forums world readable makes me open for people to deep link to me and use my bandwidth to download these huge media files. Also with this media there could be some copyright issues with me posting this content on my site and having it link back to me.
Thus with issues of hosting these huge files and not knowing exactly who has access to them and certain copyright issues. I have created a "Private Section" which I will give access to anyone who asks (unless your username is RIAA4Ever or FCCandME). Then in this section I will post any links to huge hosted media files or questionable content.
